REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Ducts

 

Removal

  1. Remove instrument panel (04320) . Refer to Section 01-12.
  1. Remove one screw retaining windshield defroster hose nozzle (18490) to heater air plenum chamber (18471) .


Windshield Defroster Hose Nozzle, A/C Side Window Demister and Hose, and A/C Evaporator Register Ducts

  1. Remove three screws which attach windshield defroster hose nozzle to instrument panel . Disconnect demister hose from each end of windshield defroster hose nozzle . Remove windshield defroster hose nozzle .
  1. Remove the two instrument panel retaining screws from each A/C side window demister and hose (19E630) . Remove the A/C side window demister and hoses.
  1. To remove RH or LH A/C evaporator register duct (19B680) , remove two screws retaining A/C evaporator register duct to the top of the instrument panel reinforcement.
  1. To remove heater air plenum chamber , remove RH A/C evaporator register duct . Remove heater air plenum chamber from instrument panel .
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
