REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Heater Blower Motor and Blower Motor Wheel Assembly

 

Removal

  1. Remove three blower motor attaching screws.
  1. Remove the heater motor dash panel opening cover (18A475).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  1. Pull the A/C blower motor and A/C blower wheel (19834) out of the A/C evaporator housing (19850) .
  1. Remove blower motor wheel retainer (18A287) from A/C blower motor and A/C blower wheel assembly and remove A/C blower wheel .
 

Installation

  1. Install gasket material, jumper wire harness, A/C blower wheel assembly and metal pushnut onto a new A/C blower motor.
  1. Position the A/C blower motor and A/C blower wheel in the heater motor dash panel opening cover .
  1. Position A/C blower motor and A/C blower wheel assembly into the A/C evaporator housing .
  1. Install three retaining screws.
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
