REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Cables

 

Temperature Control Cable

Removal

  1. Remove air conditioner control (19980) as outlined.
  1. Remove instrument panel. Refer to Section 01-12.
  1. Remove A/C temperature cable (19988) from A/C evaporator housing (19850).
 

Installation

  1. Install the new pull-pull A/C temperature cable at the A/C evaporator housing .
  1. With the A/C temperature cable installed, turn the temperature control knob to the full heat position.
  1. Position the cable on the rear of the air conditioner control and install the retaining screw.
  1. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Section 01-12.
