A/C Recirculating Air Duct and Heater Blower Motor Housing

The A/C recirculating air duct (19C590) and A/C blower housing assembly:

• Are located under the RH side of the instrument panel (04320) .
• Are attached to the A/C evaporator housing (19850) assembly.

The A/C recirculating air duct :

• Contains the heater and A/C air inlet duct door.
• Serves as the air passage to supply air to the A/C blower motor for system operation.

The A/C blower motor assembly includes:

• Heater blower motor (18527).
• A/C blower wheel (19834)

The A/C blower motor operates as follows:

• It draws air from the A/C recirculating air duct .
• It then forces the air into the A/C evaporator housing through the A/C evaporator core (19860) .

The A/C blower motor should not be removed from the mounting flange because the position of the A/C blower motor in the mounting flange is preset to prevent interference of the A/C evaporator housing and A/C blower wheel .
