Clutch Pedal Position Switch

  1. Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch electrical connector.
  1. Use Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter 105-00051 or equivalent to check the resistance between the two connector terminals.
  1. The ohmmeter should show continuity when the switch rod is pushed into the clutch pedal position switch (CPP switch) (9A837) .
  1. The ohmmeter should show no continuity with the switch rod released.
  1. Replace clutch pedal position switch if it fails this test.
