REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Transmitter Battery

The keyless entry remote transmitter (15K601) is powered by two coin-type 3-volt lithium batteries.

  1. Separate the keyless entry remote transmitter by twisting a thin coin between the two halves of the keyless entry remote transmitter .

     CAUTION: Do not take the front half of the keyless entry remote transmitter apart.

  1. Carefully swing the contacts off the batteries and remove the old batteries.

    NOTE: When installing the new batteries, be sure to place the positive (+) side down as marked.

  1. Carefully swing the contacts back onto the top of the batteries.
  1. Snap the two halves of the keyless entry remote transmitter back together.
