Antenna

 

Removal and Installation

Sedan

NOTE: Sedan model uses an antenna that is part of the body main wiring (14A005) that runs from the electronic door lock control processor to the heated back window power feed. DO NOT REMOVE the damaged antenna from the wire harness.

  1. Disconnect antenna connector from electronic door lock control processor and tape securely out of the way.
  1. Connect new antenna connector to electronic door lock control processor.
  1. Install new antenna by securing along path followed by unconnected damaged antenna. Secure using Ford-approved tie-wrap or tape.
 

Convertible

NOTE: This vehicle uses an antenna that is part of the body main wiring that runs from the electronic door lock control processor to the heated back window power feed. DO NOT REMOVE the damaged antenna from the wire harness.

  1. Disconnect antenna connector from electronic door lock control processor and tape securely out of the way.
  1. Remove the plastic tube portion of the antenna from the sheet metal support brace which is just behind the rear seats. Tape securely out of the way.
  1. Connect new antenna connector to electronic door lock control processor.
  1. Install new antenna by securing along path followed by unconnected damaged antenna. Secure Ford-approved tie-wrap or tape.
