The luggage compartment remote control system consists of:
Power is supplied to the luggage compartment remote control lock switch through instrument panel circuit breaker 12 and Circuit 571 (BK/W). Circuit breaker 12 is hot at all times. Ground to the remote control lock actuator is provided through Circuit 57 (BK).
Momentarily pressing the luggage compartment remote control lock switch provides power to the remote control lock actuator through Circuit 84 (P/Y). The actuator unlocks the luggage compartment door latch . The remote control actuator can also be activated by the keyless entry remote transmitter (15K601) . Refer to Section 01-14B for information on the electronic door lock system.
