Except Cobra

Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector.

2. Remove two screws retaining fog lamp (15200) to fog lamp mounting bracket (15266) .

3. Remove fog lamp by pulling down behind front bumper cover (17D957) .

4. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Adjust fog lamp as necessary.

Cobra

1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector.

2. Remove two screws retaining fog lamp to front bumper (17757) .

3. Remove screw and spring assembly, retaining bottom of foglamp to bracket.

4. Spread open bracket arms to remove lamp.

5. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Adjust fog lamp as outlined.

Bulb, Fog Lamp

Except Cobra

Removal and Installation

1. Lift up on lens assembly retaining tab retaining lens assembly to the fog lamp . Use caution to avoid dropping the lens.

2. Remove lens assembly from fog lamp and turn it to gain access to the rear of fog lamp .

3. Disconnect bulb wire lead from pigtail connector.

4. Release the miniature bulb socket retainer from the locking tab.

   NOTE: Do not touch the new miniature bulb (13466) with bare hands. The stains will cause contamination of the quartz which may result in early failure of the miniature bulb . Do not remove the protective plastic sleeve until the miniature bulb is inserted into the socket. Ensure the circuit is not energized. If the quartz was inadvertently handled, it should be cleaned with a clean cloth moistened with alcohol before installation.

5. Remove miniature bulb and socket assembly from fog lamp and pull the miniature bulb directly out of the socket.

6. Insert new miniature bulb into lens assembly and secure with retainer. Connect wire lead to pigtail connector.

   NOTE: There is a vertical tab on bottom of fog lamp .

7. Position the lens assembly right side up (as indicated on the lens) into the fog lamp .

8. Secure lens assembly to the fog lamp with retaining tab. Test the fog lamp for proper operation.

Cobra

1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector.

2. Remove bulb assembly from the lamp assembly by rotating counterclockwise to release.

3. Insert new bulb assembly into lamp and rotate clockwise to secure.

4. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
