DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING

Inspection and Verification—Fog Lamps

  1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the fog lamps (15200) to duplicate the concern.
  1. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns apply:

    Electrical
    • Circuitry open/shorted.
    • Miniature bulb burned out.
    • Damaged fog lamp switch.
    • Damaged fog lamp relay.

  1. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the following Symptom Chart.
