DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING

Inspection and Verification—Stoplamps

  1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the stoplights to duplicate the concern.
  1. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns apply:

    Electrical
    • Circuitry open/shorted.
    • Blown fuse.
    • Damaged turn signal and windshield wiper switch.
    • Damaged stoplight switch.
    • Damaged connectors.

  1. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the following Symptom Chart.
