Stoplight Switch

The stoplight switch (13480) not only provides power to the stoplights, it also provides a signal to various other systems including:

• Anti-lock brake control module (2B373).
• Powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650).
• Shift lock actuator (3Z719).
• Speed control amplifier (9D843).

Power is provided to the stoplight switch through instrument panel fuse 9 and Circuit 10 (LG/R). This fuse is hot at all times. With the stoplight switch closed, power is provided to the stoplights through Circuit 810 (R/LG). Ground is provided to the stoplights through Circuit 57 (BK).
