REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Radio Amplifier

 

Premium Sound

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove Instrument Panel Storage bin or CD player.
  1. Disconnect electrical connectors.
  1. Remove three screws retaining amp to Instrument Panel.
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedures.



 

Subwoofer

Convertible

NOTE: The convertible top needs to be in the up position to remove the subwoofer radio amplifiers (18B849) .

 

Removal and Installation

  1. From inside the luggage compartment, remove the pushpins retaining the forward panel and remove the forward panel.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the retaining nuts.
  1. Remove the subwoofer radio amplifiers .
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten retaining nuts to 2.7-3.7 Nm (24-33 lb-in).

Coupe

Removal and Installation

  1. From inside the luggage compartment, remove the subwoofer amplifier electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the four retaining screws.
  1. Remove the super sound radio amplifier .
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedures.
