Triggering the System

The alarm system will be triggered if any of the following actions occur after the system has been armed:

1. Opening any door without first unlocking with door key, or unlock button of remote entry transmitter.

2. Removing the luggage compartment lock cylinder.

   NOTE: When the system is triggered, the horns (13832) will honk and the low beam headlamps (13008) , tail lamps, parking lamps (13200) and anti-theft alarm lamp will flash. The vehicle starter circuit will be disabled to prevent starting the vehicle.

   Whether or not the theft system has been armed, if the ignition lock cylinder is forcibly removed from the steering column, the alarm will trigger.
