Arming the System

The system will be armed when the following input sequence is followed:

1. Turn ignition switch (11572) OFF.

2. Open a door. Anti-theft indicator flashes.

3. Lock the doors with power door locks indicator on.

4. Close all doors.

5. Wait approximately 30 seconds for anti-theft indicator to go out, indicating system is armed.

   The system can also be armed by the optional remote entry transmitter when the following input sequence is followed:

6. Turn ignition switch OFF.

7. Close all doors. Warning indicator is off.

8. Lock the doors by pressing the LOCK button of the transmitter. (Warning indicator glows steadily.)

9. Wait approximately 30 seconds for the anti-theft indicator to turn off. This indicates the system is armed.
