REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Control Cables

 

Removal

  1. Remove the heater control (18549) as outlined.
  1. Remove instrument panel. Refer to Section 01-12.
  1. Remove A/C temperature cable (19988) from the heater case.
 

Installation

  1. Install the new pull-pull A/C temperature cable .
  1. With the new A/C temperature cable installed, turn the temperature control knob to the full heat position.
  1. Position the cable on the rear of the control head and install the retaining screw.
  1. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Section 01-12.
