REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Speed Control Vacuum Reservoir

 

Removal

  1. Raise vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Section 00-02.
  1. Remove LH front wheel (1007) and tire assembly.
  1. Remove front fender splash shield (16103) . Refer to Section 01-02.
  1. Disconnect speed control vacuum supply tube (9C764) at speed control vacuum valve (9C793) under fender.
  1. Remove two nuts retaining speed control vacuum reservoir (9E799) from fender rail.



 

Installation

  1. Install speed control vacuum reservoir to fender rail with two nuts.
  1. Route vacuum speed control vacuum supply tube from speed control vacuum reservoir to check valve.
  1. Install front fender splash shield .
  1. Install LH front wheel and tire assembly. Tighten wheel hub bolt nuts (1012) to 115-142 Nm (85-105 lb-ft).
  1. Lower vehicle.
