REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Sensor Indicator, Anti-Lock Rear Brake

Removal

 WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW AXLE SHAFT FLANGE TO CONTACT PRESS BED DURING REAR BRAKE ANTI-LOCK SENSOR INDICATOR (2C189) REMOVAL.

 CAUTION: Once a rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator has been removed it must be replaced with a new rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator .

  1. Remove axle shaft (4234) as outlined. Place axle shaft in press as shown and remove rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator . Discard rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator .



 

Installation

  1. Position Sensing Ring Installer T89P-20202-A on press with pilot ring up.



  1. Place new rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator on Sensor Ring Installer T89P-20202-A as shown. Make sure rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator is positioned as shown.



  1. Position axle shaft as shown.



  1. Position a flat piece of steel on axle shaft as shown.



  1. Press rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator onto axle shaft to the dimension shown.



  1. Install axle shaft as outlined.
