DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve
The idle air control valve (IAC valve) (9F715):
Is used to control engine idle speed.
Is mounted on the throttle body (9E926).
Allows air to bypass the throttle plate. The amount of air allowed to bypass is determined by the powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650) and controlled by a duty cycle signal.
