Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve

The idle air control valve (IAC valve) (9F715):

• Is used to control engine idle speed.
• Is mounted on the throttle body (9E926).
• Allows air to bypass the throttle plate. The amount of air allowed to bypass is determined by the powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650) and controlled by a duty cycle signal.
