Removal and Installation

1. Remove ignition coil (12029) and radio ignition interference capacitor (18801) from ignition coil mounting bracket as outlined.

2. Remove two lower ignition coil mounting bracket retaining nuts from engine front cover stud bolts. Remove upper retaining bolt from lower intake manifold (9424) and ignition coil mounting bracket.

3. To install, reverse Removal procedures. Tighten ignition coil bracket retainer bolt to 4.0-5.7 Nm (40-61 lb-in) and lower retaining nuts to 20-30 Nm (15-22 lb-ft).
