Without removing the ignition wires from the spark plugs (12405) , distributor cap (12106) or ignition coil (12029) , wipe the wires with a clean, damp cloth. Inspect them for visible damage such as cuts, pinches, cracks or torn boots. Replace only ignition wires that are damaged. Refer to Ignition Wire, Removal and Installation.
