Supported on the bottom of the cylinder block (6010)
by four steel-backed, over-plated copper-lead crankshaft
main bearings.
The No. 3 crankshaft main bearing (steel-backed over-plated aluminum)
limits crankshaft end play and absorbs thrust loads applied to the crankshaft
ends.
The two sprockets and a timing chain (6268) connect the crankshaft
with the camshaft (6250)
and provide a 2:1 drive ratio.
