  1. Advance half turn after gasket contacts sealing surface.
  1. Tighten in sequence as follows::
    1. 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
    1. 40 Nm (29 lb-ft)
    1. 50 Nm (37 lb-ft)

       CAUTION: Do not loosen all of the bolts at the same time; only work on one bolt at a time.

  1. Back off all bolts one at a time two to three revolutions and retighten as follows:

    Long Bolts:

    1. Tighten to 15-25 Nm (11-19 lb-ft)
    1. Rotate an additional 85-95 degrees
    1. Go to next bolt in sequence

      Short Bolts:

    1. Tighten to 10-20 Nm (7-15 lb-ft)
    1. Rotate an additional 85-95 degrees
    1. Go to next bolt in sequence
  1. Tighten in two steps:
    1. 5 Nm (44 lb-in) MAX
    1. 25-35 Nm (19-25 lb-ft)
  1. Tighten in two steps:
    1. 11 Nm (8 lb-ft)
    1. 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
  1. Tighten in numerical sequence in three steps:
    1. 10 Nm (8 lb-ft)
    1. 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
    1. 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)
  1. Tighten in three steps:
    1. Tighten to 41-49 Nm (31-36 lb-ft)
    1. Loosen two to three revolutions
    1. Final tighten to 41-49 Nm (31-36 lb-ft)
