Remove rear seat cushion and seat back; refer to Section 01-10.
Remove quarter trim panels (31012)
. Refer to Section 01-05.
Unsnap the folding top compartment trim (54602)
from the 19 tackstrip nuts.
Unclip the folding top motor upper and lower hose (53390)
from the retaining clips. On vehicle equipped with
SuperSound audio system, unclip the two amplifier clips.
Unclip up and down relays from motor plate.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiring assembly.
Unseat the four folding top hydraulic lift motor and plate grommets from the folding top hydraulic lift motor and plate kit (533A00)

Remove the two folding top hydraulic cylinder rod shoulder screws.
Remove the two folding top hydraulic bracket nuts and remove the two folding top control link brackets (50444)
.
Remove the folding top hydraulic lift motor and plate kit
and folding top hydraulic cylinder (50600)
from the vehicle.
