DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

To Raise Top

  1. Rotate the inside visors (04100) downward.
  1. Remove the folding top dust cover hood (54400) and stow in folding top dust cover hood container (54486) in the luggage compartment.
  1. Engage parking brake.
  1. Actuate the convertible top control switch located on the console panel (045A36) .
  1. Immediately before the roof side alignment pins (514A38) enter the folding top header protector caps (53480) , release the control switch and unlatch the folding top hold down clamps (50508) . Then continue to raise the top until folding top header panel (53038) rests properly on windshield header.
  1. Close both folding top hold down clamps making certain that folding top hold down clamp latches (506A48) are fully engaged with their respective folding top header protector caps .
