Turn Signal and Windshield Wiper Switch

Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301) .

2. Place a 3.17mm (1/8-inch) diameter wire pin or small drift punch in hole in steering column shroud (3530) under ignition switch lock cylinder (11582) . Depress retaining pin while pulling out on ignition switch lock cylinder to remove it from steering column tube housing.

3. Remove four steering column shroud retaining screws and remove steering column shrouds .

4. Disconnect electrical connectors from turn signal and windshield wiper switch (13K359) .

5. Remove two screws retaining turn signal and windshield wiper switch to steering column tube (3514) and remove turn signal and windshield wiper switch .

6. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten two turn signal and windshield wiper switch screws to 2.1-2.9 Nm (19-25 lb-in). Tighten four steering column shrouds to 0.6-1.0 Nm (6-8 lb-in).
