DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING
Component Test
Current Draw
Windshield Wiper Motor
Disconnect starter relay cable from battery.
Disconnect wiper motor pivot arm from wiper motor.
Connect green lead from Rotunda Starting and Charging Tester 078-00005 or equivalent to the positive post of the battery.
Connect a jumper wire from Pin 4 (Circuit 61) of the wiper motor to battery ground terminal.
Connect positive (red) lead from the tester to Pin 5 (Circuit 56) or Pin 6 (Circuit 58) of the wiper motor.
At either connection, the current draw should not exceed 3 amps.
