REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Steering Column Opening Cover Assembly and Reinforcement

 

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove two screws retaining the bottom of the instrument panel steering column cover (04459) to the instrument panel (04320) .
  1. Pull on instrument panel steering column cover to unsnap the two clips across the top of the instrument panel steering column cover .
  1. Remove two screws retaining instrument panel reinforcement (04545) to instrument panel and remove instrument panel reinforcement .
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten screws to 7.6-10.4 Nm (72-96 lb-in).
