Front Seat Back

Removal

1. Remove seat assembly as outlined.

2. Disengage front seat back cover (64416) as outlined to gain access to front seat back latch upper cover (62766) .

3. Remove two screws retaining front seat back latch upper cover to front seat back frame (61018) .

4. Remove two bolts retaining front seat back latch to front seat back frame .

   A		Tighten to 22-32 Nm (17-23 Lb-Ft)

5. Remove two screws retaining front seat back latch lower cover (62768) to front seat cushion frame and spring (63100) .

6. Remove two bolts retaining front seat back latch to front seat cushion frame and spring and remove front seat back latch .

7. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten front seat back latch to front seat back latch bolts to 22-32 Nm (17-23 lb-ft) and front seat back latch to front seat cushion frame and spring bolts to 47-63 Nm (35-46 lb-ft).

   NOTE: After latch assembly replacement, the seat assembly must be checked for proper operation prior to installing the seat assembly.

8. Check seat tracks, recliner and safety belts for proper operation.
