DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING

Condition	Possible Source	Action
Power Seat Completely Inoperative	Supply open or shorted. Ground open. Switch inoperative. Circuits open or shorted. Seat regulator motor assembly.	Go to Pinpoint Test Step A1.
Power Seat Does Not Move Forward or Backward	Seat regulator motor circuits. Seat regulator motor assembly. Seat back control switch and housing circuits. Seat back control switch and housing.	Go to Pinpoint Test Step B1.
Power Seat Does Not Move Up or Down	Seat regulator motor circuits. Seat regulator motor assembly. Seat back control switch and housing circuits. Seat back control switch and housing.	Go to Pinpoint Test Step C1.
Lumbar Support Does Not Operate Properly	Supply open or shorted. Ground open. Seat back control switch and housing. Seat back control switch and housing circuits open or shorted. Front seat back pad adjusting pump inoperative. Front seat back pad adjuster or front seat back pad adjusting tube damaged.	Go to Pinpoint Test Step D1.
