Hazard Warning Flasher Switch

The hazard warning flasher switch (part of turn signal and windshield wiper switch (13K359) ) is located on the top of the steering column tube (3514) forward of the steering wheel (3600).

• The switch should cycle smoothly from OFF to ON by pressing and releasing the switch top.
• The switch should produce an audible click when it toggles from one state to another.
• The switch should extend markedly further above the column when the switch is ON than it does when it is OFF.

When the hazard switch is in the ON position, the four turn signal lamps should be flashing. Also, the two turn indicators in the instrument panel (04320) should be flashing simultaneously.
