DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Charging System
The electrical system is a negative ground system consisting of:
- Integral generator (GEN) (10300)
.
- Generator regulator (10316) (IGR).
- Charge indicator.
- Storage battery (10653)
.
- Necessary wiring and cables.

Manual for schematics and
locations of components and wiring.
With the ignition switch (11572)
in the RUN position, voltage:
- Is applied through the charge indicator 'I' circuit to the generator regulator
.
- Turns the generator regulator
on allowing current to flow from the sense 'A' circuit
to the generator field coil.
