REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Heater Blower Motor and Blower Motor Wheel Assembly

 

Removal

  1. Remove three blower motor attaching screws.
  1. Remove the heater motor dash panel opening cover (18A475) .
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  1. Pull the heater blower motor (18527) and A/C blower wheel (19834) out of the A/C evaporator housing (19850) .
  1. Remove blower motor wheel retainer (18A287) from heater blower motor and A/C blower wheel assembly and remove A/C blower wheel .
 

Installation

  1. Install gasket material, jumper wire harness, A/C blower wheel and blower motor wheel retainer onto a new A/C blower motor.
  1. Position the heater blower motor and A/C blower wheel in the heater motor dash panel opening cover .
  1. Position A/C blower motor assembly into the heater case.
  1. Install three retaining screws.
  1. Install the electrical connector.
