The power steering hoses use o-ring seals (9229)
at the quick connect fittings. There are
two possible leak points at the steering gear fittings.
A leak might occur between the
( power steering pressure hose (3A719) or power steering return hose (3A713)
and the hose nut.
A leak might occur between the hose nut and the aluminum steering gear housing (3548)
or power steering pressure, return and pump outlet line
connector.
