Clutch Release Hub and Bearing

Removal

1. Raise vehicle on hoist. Refer to Section 00-02.

2. Remove transmission. Refer to Section 07-03.

3. Rotate clutch release hub and bearing (7548) assembly against clutch release shaft (7515) until spring pushes clutch release hub and bearing off.

Installation

NOTE: Replacement clutch release hub and bearings are prelubricated and require no additional lubrication.

1. Install clutch release hub and bearing assembly to the clutch release shaft by pushing into position.

2. Install transmission. Refer to Section 07-03.

3. Lower vehicle.

4. Bleed clutch hydraulic system as outlined.
