Mainshaft Front Bearing Replacer T82T-7003-DH

 

Disassembly

NOTE: Remove the front countershaft bearing race only if it is worn or damaged. If the bearing race is removed, Threadlock and Sealer E0AZ-19554-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G315-AS (Type II) must be used during installation.

 CAUTION: Failure to properly support the case (7005) will result in permanent distortion of case during bearing race removal.

Using a press and Remover Tube T77J-7025-B and Mainshaft Front Bearing Replacers T82T-7003-DH and T77J-7025-M, and Countershaft Front Bearing Replacer T77J-7025-L (assembled to case ), remove bearing race with O-ring from case .



 

Assembly

  1. Install shift shaft lever seal (7693) onto bearing race. Coat bearing race outside diameter with Threadlock and Sealer E0AZ-19554-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G315-AS (Type II) and position bearing race to case .



  1. Using Pinion Bearing Cone Replacer T57L-4621-B and Remover/Replacer Tube T75L-7025-B, support transmission case on press. Press bearing race until flush with case .
