Brake System, Anti-Lock

The Mustang is equipped with a 4-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS) which:

• Prevents wheel (1007) lockup by automatically modulating the brake pressure during an emergency stop.
• Will allow the driver to maintain steering control and stop in short distances by not locking the wheels.
