Disassembly and Assembly

1. The bushings can be pressed or tapped out of their housing using a driver of the appropriate size. Be sure the housing is well supported.

2. Immerse new bushings in engine oil (SAE 30 or 40) for at least 20 minutes before installation.

   NOTE: Do not ream the bushings after installation since the self-lubricating qualities of the bushing may be damaged.

3. Press or tap the new bushing into position using a driver.
