Automatic Transmission

When installing a new radiator (8005) in an automatic transmission-equipped vehicle, transfer the transmission oil cooler line fittings from the old radiator and install them in the new radiator , using Pipe Sealant with Teflon® D8AZ-19554-A or equivalent meeting Ford specifications ESG-M4G194-A and ESR-M18P7-A.

When installation of the radiator is complete, check the transmission oil cooler line connections for leaks. Check the transmission fluid level and fill if necessary. Refer to Section 07-01.
