Inspection and Verification

1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the power seat to duplicate the condition.

2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
   
   

   Mechanical	Electrical
   Seat tracks obstructed. Seat at limit(s) of travel. Damaged front seat adjusting motor drive tube . Damaged seat back control switch and housing . Damaged support bag hose.	Open in-line circuit breaker. Loose, corroded or damaged connectors. Damaged seat back control switch and housing . Damaged seat regulator motor . Circuit. Damaged. front seat back pad adjusting pump .

   
   

3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the following Symptom Chart.
