To fold the front seat back forward for rear seat entry or exit, push up on the front seat back latch handle knob (62762) and push the seat back forward.
The front seat back latch (62648) is factory-installed on the lower outboard corner of the front seat back. If the front seat back latch is removed for any reason, it must be installed as outlined.
The front seat back latch is used on all bucket seat applications.
A visible release handle on the outboard rear corner of the seat back is manually operated to unlock the front seat back latch .
NOTE: Under no circumstances are front seat back latch components to be replaced or serviced as individual components. If a front seat back latch or component is non-functional or damaged, the entire front seat back latch must be replaced.
