REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

GT Model

Removal and Installation

  1. Open luggage compartment door (40110) .
  1. Remove four nut and washer assemblies retaining rear luggage compartment door outside center extension (44210) to luggage compartment door and remove rear luggage compartment door outside center extension .
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten nuts to 6.8-9.2 Nm (60-81 lb-in).

    A Tighten to 6.8-9.2 Nm (60-81 Lb-In)
 

Cobra

Removal

  1. Disconnect the rear hi-mount lamp wiring (13A625) from the main luggage compartment harness.
  1. Remove the four luggage compartment door outside center extension retaining nuts.
  1. Tilt luggage compartment door outside center extension forward, so the rear portion of the foot is off the luggage compartment door . Unseal wiring grommet by pushing from inside of luggage compartment door .
  1. Pull rear hi-mount lamp wiring through and out of luggage compartment door .
  1. Lift the luggage compartment door outside center extension off luggage compartment door and place on a protective surface.
 

Installation

  1. Place forward luggage compartment door outside center extension studs in forward holes on luggage compartment door .
  1. Feed rear hi-mount lamp wiring through hole, pull on rear hi-mount lamp wiring in luggage compartment to seat grommet in hole.
  1. Place rear luggage compartment door outside center extension studs in rearward holes on luggage compartment door .
  1. Install and tighten retaining nuts.
  1. Feed rear hi-mount lamp wiring through inner and outer panels of luggage compartment door . Connect into main luggage compartment wire assembly.
