Mouldings, Back Belt and Side—Convertible

Removal and Installation

1. Lower the convertible top.

   NOTE: To remove the moulding (423A18) , it is necessary to remove the quarter window belt weatherstrip (Refer to Section 01-11) and the back belt moulding first.

2. To remove the back belt moulding, remove the six screws retaining the moulding to the upper back panel and remove the moulding.

3. To remove the moulding , remove the one screw at the corner of the upper back panel (40310) and the five screws along the inside of the quarter panel (27840) .

4. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten retaining screws to 1.2-1.8 Nm (11-16 lb-in).
