Door, Luggage Compartment

 

Removal and Installation

  1. Open and support luggage compartment door (40110). Mark the luggage compartment door hinge locations on the luggage compartment door .
  1. Disconnect luggage compartment door hydraulic lifts (406A10) from luggage compartment door.
  1. Protect the body with covers to prevent damage to paint.
  1. Remove screws retaining luggage compartment door to luggage compartment door hinges (42700) and remove luggage compartment door. Do not set luggage compartment door on end. Set luggage compartment door flat.
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Align luggage compartment door as outlined. Tighten hinge retaining screws to 5.0-8.5 Nm (4-6 lb-ft).
