Cowl Vent Screens

Removal and Installation

1. Remove both windshield wiper pivot arms (17526) from vehicle. Refer to Section 01-16.

2. Remove six screws retaining cowl vent screen (018A16) to body from the top of cowl vent screen .

3. Carefully raise cowl vent screen from the vehicle and disconnect windshield washer hose (17A605) from windshield washer nozzle jet and bracket (17603) and remove the cowl vent screen .

4. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten screws to 1.3-2.0 Nm (11.5-18 lb-in).
