Hoisting Instructions

For hoisting and lifting locations, refer to the illustration in Hoist, Frame Contact.

 CAUTION: Do not allow the adapters to contact the steering linkage, suspension arms, stabilizer arm, or compress the lower suspension arm stabilizer bar insulators (5493) . Damage to suspension, exhaust and/or steering linkage components may occur if care is not exercised when positioning the hoist adapters of two-post hoists prior to lifting the vehicle.

If a two-post hoist is used to lift a rear-wheel drive vehicle, place the adapters under the front suspension lower arms.
