Insert a thin-blade screwdriver or similar tool between end of louver
assembly and register housing.
Rotate blade and carefully pry louver away from pivot pin in register
housing until retaining hole in louver assembly clears pin.
Grasp louver assembly horizontal bars and pull assembly out of register
housing.
Installation
Partially assemble louver assembly into register opening. Ensure hole in
louver is properly aligned with pin in register housing.
Push ends of louver assembly inward until hole and pivot pin engage. (If
necessary, use blade of a screwdriver to wedge one end of assembly against
register housing while hole is being engaged with pin on opposite side.)
