Drain Hose Replacement

Front

1. Lower headliner assembly at windshield header area.

2. Disconnect hose from roof front drain nozzle.

3. Remove cowl side trim panel for access to lower end of existing hose.

4. Attach replacement hose to lower end of existing hose.

5. Pull new hose into place from below as existing hose is pulled out at top.

6. Apply Weatherstrip Adhesive E8AZ-19552-A (ESB-M2G14-A) or equivalent to nozzles prior to installing drain hoses.

Rear

1. Pull headlining down from affected corner of roof panel for access to drain hose.

2. Disconnect hose from roof rear drain nozzle.

3. Remove quarter trim panel for access to lower end of hose.

4. Attach replacement hose to lower end of existing hose. Remove existing hose from sun roof drain nozzles.

5. Pull new hose into place from below as existing hose is pulled out at top.

6. Secure new hose by applying Weatherstrip Adhesive E8AZ-19552-A (ESB-M2G14-A) or equivalent on the sun roof drain nozzles prior to installing quarter trim panel.

   During regular maintenance, check drain hose at each of the four corners of the roof to see if it is free of foreign material. Any hole that is plugged may be cleaned out with a flexible hose of smaller diameter than the drain hose, or by air pressure.
