Glass Replacement

Remove the hinge assemblies or bracket assemblies depending on model, from the broken glass by removing the retaining screws at the center of each hinge. Loosen the Allen setscrews on the latch mechanism and unscrew the two retaining bolts to separate from the broken glass. Be sure to transfer all sleeves and washers to the new installation. Apply Thread Lock and Sealer E0AZ-19554-AA (ESE-M4G2O4-A) or equivalent, to hinge and latch attachments before assembling.

It is recommended that the retaining screws be tightened to 4-6 Nm (36-54 lb-in).
