ADJUSTMENTS

Up/Down

If the third bow height is uneven side-to-side, the top stack must be raised (or lowered). If the C-pillar bottom edge contacts the quarter trim panel, the top stack must be raised. Perform these procedures:

  1. Remove rear seat and quarter trim panels as outlined.

NOTE: If the third bow is uneven from side-to-side (height from body of vehicle), loosen only the low side and raise to the same height as the opposite side. If the vinyl is too tight, loosen the high side and lower the stack until an even height is obtained.

  1. Loosen the six main pivot bracket bolts.

NOTE: Use care when adjusting bracket up/down, as these bolts also control fore/aft movement.

  1. To raise the stack assembly, pry bracket upward.

  1. Tighten the bolts to 16-24 Nm (12-18 lb-ft).
  1. Check third bow height. Check C-pillar and header alignment and adjust, if necessary.
